The Irish Nation:According to the 2006 census the population of the Republic of Ireland was 4,025,010 (slightly more than 4 Million). Thats less than at the end of the Famine. (1851). We must rebuild the Republic, its institutions and its economy, To do so we must reach out to and harness the creativity and skills of our greatest asset, Our Emigrant People. to offer to our Irish family, a reason to return to their homeland. Irishmen and Irishwomen have spread to the four corners of the Earth, and on their return, have contributed greatly to the development of our culture. From this a varied and sometimes exciting culture has evolved, the Irish are a Passive and Tolerant people, choosing to express themselves in their sports, their music, their dance, their writings, and their friendly nature. Over the past decades however, due to a deceitful and incompetent administration, the Irish People have lost faith in the ``Republic'', Successive Irish leaders have, to use an old saying ``Taken the Shilling''. and left the people feeling betrayed. But we are not helpless.
