Democratic Reform
For a New Republic

The Irish Nation:

The Irish Nation is a collective of individuals, families and neighbours drawn and held together by common beliefs, common values, and a shared history. The homeland of the Irish Nation is the Island of Ireland, and though many of the Irish family have spread throughout the world, they still look to Ireland as their home. The community which makes up the Irish Nation is estimated at approx. 80 million people.

According to the 2006 census the population of the Republic of Ireland was 4,025,010 (slightly more than 4 Million). Thats less than at the end of the Famine. (1851). We must rebuild the Republic, its institutions and its economy, To do so we must reach out to and harness the creativity and skills of our greatest asset, Our Emigrant People. to offer to our Irish family, a reason to return to their homeland.

Irishmen and Irishwomen have spread to the four corners of the Earth, and on their return, have contributed greatly to the development of our culture. From this a varied and sometimes exciting culture has evolved, the Irish are a Passive and Tolerant people, choosing to express themselves in their sports, their music, their dance, their writings, and their friendly nature.

Over the past decades however, due to a deceitful and incompetent administration, the Irish People have lost faith in the ``Republic'', Successive Irish leaders have, to use an old saying ``Taken the Shilling''. and left the people feeling betrayed. But we are not helpless.

We Can Take Back our Nation
